REAL-TIME DATA

MONITORING

AND REPORTING

OF METRICS

As healthcare professionals, we use data every day to inform our practice, whether it is to prioritise tasks, make diagnoses, or inform treatment decisions. Data can help us to identify those at risk of poor outcomes, understand how people are using their medicines, where care can be improved, and what impact changing practice can have on prescribing and outcomes.

DATA TO SUPPORT
CHANGE

SENTINEL Plus supports the use of data contained within primary care electronic health record systems and available from public sources to assess practice and monitor change. This section of the website provides hints and tips about how you can access and use data to support the aims of the programme. If you need more tailored advice, you can reach out to a member of the SENTINEL team for advice here.
